In September, Cheshire Police and Crime Commissioner, John Dwyer, attended a monthly street surgery in Handbridge Park Ward. The event provided an opportunity for local residents to voice their concerns and engage directly with the Police and Crime Commissioner.
Local Councillor Razia Daniels, who runs these surgeries every month, invited John and urged residents to come forward and discuss the issues that mattered most to them.
The event helped to bridge the gap between local communities and the police. And gave residents a platform to voice their concerns. Razia is always trying to find community led solutions to ward issues and this event highlighted the proactive response she is taking. John, Razia and local residents discussed a wide range of issues during his visit and action is being taken to help residents.
We extend our thanks to John Dwyer for attending the event and speaking with residents about local issues.
Both Razia and John are committed to building safer, and more vibrant neighbourhoods.
